Adam Meister, 11th District candidate for the Baltimore City Council is rounding out his campaign with a bang. The energetic and innovative Democratic candidate known for advocating reform will be knocking on doors, handing out literature, and visiting with residents across the city for at least seven hours per day for each of the next nine days – including Primary Election Day on September 11.
“This campaign has energized me and excited a community hungry for real change and real leadership,” said Meister after visiting with residents in the 11th District’s Marble Hill neighborhood. “For some candidates, representing the views of the people will be a huge burden and challenge. For me, it will be my sole focus and daily promise.”
“I love being out with the people – hearing their concerns, listening to their views, and answering their questions. Together, we are ready to change the culture of arrogance and kickbacks that is far too prevalent in City Hall,” declared Meister.

Here Are Just A Few Reasons.
Other candidates may talk, but Adam Meister, candidate for City Council for Baltimore’s 11th District, actually puts words into action! Adam has already made City Council his full time job, and for $57,000 (the annual salary for members of the City Council) it’s absolutely unacceptable to treat it otherwise. Adam has unparalleled experience actually interacting with residents in the streets of Baltimore, not just in his own neighborhood of Reservoir Hill, but in every neighborhood of the 11th District. In just the last few months Adam has been present or contributed to scores of events, gatherings, meetings, and cleanups. Check out where Adam has been.
Adam Believes that a City Councilperson must lead by example. Once elected, Adam will set the tone by:
- Hosting district-wide quarterly meetings
- Organizing and attending at least two cross-neighborhood meetings a month
- Participating in at least two cleanups a month
- Participating in at least two COP (Citizen On Patrols) walks a month
- Answering all emails personally
- Researching who owns problem properties and contacting them if need be
- Attending neighborhood associations monthly meetings
- Walking or biking to work at least 10 weeks per year in order to reduce unnecessary pollution, traffic, and parking congestion.
